Τhe House of Europe in Rhodes, in collaboration with the European Centre of Information Europe Direct (AN.DO.) and the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has organized a Day Conference, within the frame of the celebrations for the Day of Europe (May 9th) and the 1st Conference of the Houses of Europe of Greece and Cyprus in the Conference Hall «Georges Karayannis» of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on: «The Economical Crisis reinforces or keeps off the European Vision».

- Papadaki Elisa: Economical Reporter, spoke on «Europe in its 3rd year of crisis: how much public intervention, how much public solidarity, with its weaker members (Greece)?»
- Papanikolaou Georges: Deputy of the European Parliament for the New Democracy, spoke on «Contemporary Aspects of the Migrative Flows in Europe»
