Camp Democracy was an amazing experience for me in terms of what an international exchange really is. Having to spend one week in Rhodes and one week in Glantan with the same people from different countries was a real lesson for me. Breaking stereotypes, hearing different opinions about what democracy is in Sweden, Germany, Romania, Greece. After leaving Rhodes I got so motivated by the examples of the Swedish participants of how they got involved in their local comunity. I decided to be more involved in my own comunity in Bucharest. Before leaving Glantan I am motivated to continue my traveling blog letting youngsters know how to travel easily.
In Camp Democracy I’ve learned how to be more tolerant, open-minded, and especially I’ve learned how to listen more. And besides all the trainings and working groups, I had wonderful time visiting around and experience new things.
