Introduction
Since 1950, close to the very end of World War II, as the dream of financial integration of Europe began to be a reality, along with the political actions, the first "Houses of Europe" were created, as a movement of citizens from countries that just started integrating financially.
The House of Europe in Rhodes
The House of Europe in Rhodes is a non governmental, non-profit organization founded with the purpose of spreading the european ideals and the communication among peoples of Europe, in order to facilitate european integration and create a network of dialogue towards the goal inside Europe and with the rest of the world.
The House of Europe in Rhodes was founded on December 30th, 1999 and, today, it counts 200 members.

Á unique simulation is being organized by the House of Europe in Rhodes, for the second year in a row. RhodesMRC 2011 will take place in Rhodes, October 19-23, 2011. The organizing partners are the Department of Mediterranean Studies of the University of the Aegean in Rhodes and the European Network for Education and Training e.V. RhodesMRC follows the practice of Model United Nations, a global trend on the training of students of political sciences and diplomats, for more than 80 years.
