I’m in the great position to be writing this commentary thanks to my participation to this program. I applied to Camp Democracy looking for a change and a chance to develop my skills and I did find it. Through a diverse group of people, in Rhodes, we managed to develop ideas for our projects right from the scratch, challenge our creativity and with effort we got to complete a part of our main objectives in Sweden. As a member of the “European Threats” project, I can say that the subject is apart from interesting or timely, one that will create questions and push us towards searching for answers. I have great hopes for the continuation of this program as I believe we can make a difference and hopefully we will. There is a lot more for us to offer and a lot of space for us to grow. Personally, I never thought I could come this far but now, with the camp, I know I want to push forward with these great people. I’m thankful I was given this chance and grateful for having met these people and their cultures.
